Luxe Fragrances Pty Ltd is committed to responsible and ethical sourcing. We expect our suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and other business partners to operate in a manner that respects internationally recognised labour standards and human rights principles.
Purpose
This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the minimum standards we expect from suppliers involved in the manufacture, supply or distribution of products sold by Luxe Fragrances.
Modern Slavery and Forced Labour
Suppliers must not use, support or benefit from forced labour, bonded labour, trafficked labour, slavery, servitude or any other form of involuntary labour.
Workers must be free to leave employment in accordance with applicable laws and must not be required to surrender passports, identity documents or other personal documents as a condition of employment.
Child Labour
Suppliers must not use child labour and must comply with all applicable laws relating to minimum working age.
Young workers must not be engaged in work that is hazardous, harmful to their health or safety, or that interferes with their education.
Fair Wages and Working Hours
Suppliers must comply with applicable laws and regulations relating to wages, benefits, working hours, overtime and leave entitlements.
Workers must be paid fairly and must receive wages and benefits in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Health and Safety
Suppliers must provide workers with a safe and healthy working environment and take reasonable steps to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
Appropriate health and safety procedures, training and protective equipment should be provided where required.
Human Rights and Respectful Treatment
Workers must be treated with dignity and respect.
Suppliers must not tolerate harassment, abuse, intimidation, discrimination or inhumane treatment and must comply with applicable human rights and anti-discrimination laws.
Freedom of Association
Suppliers should respect workers' lawful rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining in accordance with applicable laws.
Ethical Business Conduct
Suppliers are expected to conduct business honestly, ethically and transparently and to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Suppliers must not engage in bribery, corruption, fraud or other unlawful or unethical business practices.
Supply Chain Transparency
Suppliers are expected to provide accurate information about the origin, manufacture and supply of products when reasonably requested by Luxe Fragrances.
This may include information about manufacturing locations, subcontractors, labour practices, supplier policies, declarations or social compliance audit reports where available.
Due Diligence and Cooperation
Luxe Fragrances may request information or documentation from suppliers to help assess modern slavery, labour, human rights and ethical sourcing risks.
Suppliers are expected to cooperate with reasonable due diligence requests and to address identified concerns in a timely manner.
Corrective Action
If Luxe Fragrances identifies a concern or potential breach of this Supplier Code of Conduct, we may request further information or require appropriate corrective action.
Where serious concerns are identified or cannot be adequately addressed, Luxe Fragrances may reconsider or terminate the relevant supplier relationship.
Supplier Responsibility
Suppliers are responsible for communicating these expectations to relevant employees, contractors, manufacturers and subcontractors involved in supplying products to Luxe Fragrances.
Review
This Supplier Code of Conduct may be reviewed and updated from time to time as our business and supply chain develop.
